Privacy Policy

When you browse. Pages viewed, clicks, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not record your screen or your session.

When you join the waitlist. Your email address. When you use the contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message — which is relayed to us and not stored on this site.

We use this to reach you when HOLD is ready, to answer what you asked, to fix what breaks, and to understand what to build next. Joining the waitlist is what puts you on the list we email.

Three providers, each seeing only what it needs. Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends our email and holds waitlist addresses. PostHog provides product analytics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will disclose information if the law compels us to. If HOLD is ever acquired or merged, your information may transfer with the business, subject to this policy.

Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove yours. Contact messages live in our inbox like any other email. Analytics are kept under our analytics provider’s standard retention.

Traffic is encrypted in transit and our providers encrypt what they store. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you without undue delay if we hold a way to reach you. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not tell you ours is.

Email. Use the contact form and we will remove you. We only email you about HOLD.

Access, correction, deletion. Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents also have the right not to be treated differently for asking. We honor these requests from anyone, whether or not the law currently requires it of us. The only thing we cannot pull back is an email we have already sent you, and anything the law requires us to keep.

Analytics. Our analytics provider, PostHog, is a third party and sets cookies in your browser to recognize a returning session. We use it to see how this site is used; we do not use it to follow you onto other websites. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: if your browser sends either signal, our analytics never load and no analytics cookie is set. Browser tracking protection or a content blocker will also stop our analytics from loading.

HOLD operates in the United States and we configure our providers for US processing. If you use the site from outside the US, your information is transferred to the US.

When this policy changes materially we will post the new version here with a new date at the top, at least 30 days before it takes effect — the same rule section 8 of the terms states, because the two documents change together.
